Setting off from Hammerfest, this extraordinary voyage takes us via the famous Bear Island to Spitsbergen. Our destination is Longyearbyen, the gateway to the Arctic wilderness. Along the way, we’ll explore the spectacular landscapes of South Spitsbergen with their mighty glaciers, deep fjords and the fascinating wildlife of the High Arctic.

Depending on the weather, ice and wind conditions, the ship’s command will decide flexibly on the exact route. The crossing to Bear Island and on to Spitsbergen may take place right at the start of the voyage. Alternatively, we may spend more time in Northern Norway initially and cross over to Spitsbergen later. This flexibility allows us to make the most of the best conditions at any given time.

The voyage is aimed at people with a spirit of adventure who wish to experience the Arctic authentically and discover one of the most fascinating regions on our planet under sail.
