Status of compliance with requirements:
The website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
The website was evaluated by means of a self-assessment using the “WAVE – Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools” testing tool (as of 12/2025).
Non-accessible content:
The following content is not accessible for the following reasons:
- Insufficient color contrast (e.g. text on a colored background with insufficient contrast)
- PDF and Office documents that have not been prepared in an accessible format. (e.g. missing heading structure, not searchable, no tags)
- Undeclared language changes in the text (e.g. English terms or sections without language identification)
- Controls without accessible labels (e.g.buttons with icons without descriptive text or ARIA labels)
- Videos without subtitles or audio description (e.g. embedded YouTube videos without text alternatives)
- CAPTCHA without accessible alternative (e.g. no audio CAPTCHA or no logical replacement method)
- Content that cannot be paused when animated or moving (e.g. automatically running sliders or banners)
- Missing skip links for navigation (e.g. no option to skip content directly)
